Viva
My viva examination is next Monday.

People keep saying things like "You'll be fine. Why, I remember my viva. The examiners asked me to explain superstring theory, from first principles, using only the art of mime. Which was unexpected, because I'm a sociologist. I cried until I was sick, and then the examiners beat me about the head with a cricket bat. Anyway, it'll be fine! Don't worry."
